The Bentley EXP 100 GT marks not only the latest electric concept car in Bentley's EXP line-up, but as its name might suggest, it was announced on July 10th 2019 – Bentley's 100th birthday. The EXP 100 GT is what Bentley expects the luxury electric car market to look like by 2035 and we're already counting down the days. Baby steps are already being taken with the soon-to-launch (and Bentley's first) plug-in hybrid, the Bentayga, so we guess that'll have to do for now. The Bentley EXP 100 GT is a high performance, epically opulent coupé, created in-house by the Bentley design team in Crewe. It is claimed that the range will be 435 miles – to coincide with Bentley's plans for a new era of 'grand touring' – with a gut-punching acceleration of 0-60mph in 2.5 sec. Eat Bentley dust, Tesla. Limousine-like in interior proportions, the EXP 100 GT will have a 5.8-metre body with 2-metre scissor doors. Everything about this electric concept car is aimed towards finely honing the driving experience to become an emotion instead of an action. We're already welling up.
